Maria Rivero (’09)
Ms. Rivero’s talk will focus on how contemporary artists and mediamakers use technology, marketing practices, and social media to shape their creative profiles, their art, and their roles as artists.
Ms. Rivero manages a private contemporary art collection based in New York City and Miami, and she advises emerging artists from the U.S., and Central and South America on promoting their portfolios across different media. She received an M.B.A. from the Estudios Superiores en Administración (IESA) in Caracas, Venezuela, an M.A. from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and she’s currently pursuing an M.S. in tech-preneurship at Harrisburg University.
She graduated from Bentley in 2009 with a B.S. in Marketing, a Media Arts and Society LSM, and a minor in IDCC.
